The company that produces the series “Cobra 11” – Action Concept has announced that the premises located in Hürth, a suburb of Cologne, are up for sale.
After moving in during 1999 and using this location in productions like “Cobra 11” and “The Clown”, Action Concept has announced that it will relocate in order to downsize both its staff and the company’s overall size.
The 21 000 square meters, which include production offices in a five-story building, as well as the series filming studios, parking lots, warehouses, technical workshops, and the iconic facade (Autobahnpolizei), are now listed for sale at a total price of 9 500 000 Euro.
In this regard, Action Concept will organize a sale this weekend to sell office furniture and production props before relocating to smaller premises. The company has not yet announced its new location or whether they will remain in the Cologne area.
For its part, RTL has not yet reacted to this news and has not announced a date for the broadcast of the 6 episodes of “Cobra 11”, filmed in 2023 and 2024. No continuation is planned for the moment.
If “Cobra 11” continues one day, the highway police will have to find a new police station!
